Terms of Use

1. Operator identification

AussieAEO is a product of TraceData Australia ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website, creating an account, or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Advisory service only

AussieAEO provides diagnostic audits and AEO/SEO recommendations for informational purposes only. Scores, reports, JSON-LD code samples, line-by-line rewrites, and any other output are advisory tools and do not guarantee search engine ranking outcomes, AI citation frequency, traffic, leads, sales, or any other business result.

Search engines and answer engines operate independently. We do not control how they index, rank, or present content. Any claims or examples on this site are illustrative and not a promise of similar results for your business.

Visibility results are dated samples produced from selected questions, providers and approximate Australian location context. “Not detected” means the business did not appear in that sample; it does not prove that the business is absent from every AI search result or consumer interface.

3. Polite, non-destructive scanning

Our scanning service performs polite, non-destructive web crawling of a small number of public-facing pages: up to four pages for a free scan and up to eight for a paid audit. Those pages are fetched on our behalf by our crawling provider, Firecrawl, so the requests reach your server from Firecrawl’s infrastructure rather than from ours. Alongside them we make a few lightweight requests directly, identifying ourselves as AussieAEO-Scanner/1.0: the crawler files described below, and short checks that confirm a URL exists before a page is crawled. Those checks mean a scan makes somewhat more requests than the number of pages it analyses. We request pages over ordinary HTTPS, at low volume, and we do not attempt to access private, authenticated, paywalled, or restricted content, nor to bypass any access control.

We read a site’s robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap.xml in order to report on them, because how a site is configured for crawlers is part of what the audit assesses. We do not use those files to exclude pages from a scan you have asked us to run. A scan is an owner-requested audit of a site you have told us you control, in the same way a browser or a site-audit tool loads pages at your request, so the authority for the scan comes from your warranty below rather than from the site’s crawler directives.

You must only submit URLs that you own or are authorised to audit. You represent and warrant that you have the right to request a scan of any URL you submit and that doing so does not violate any law, contract, or third-party right.

4. Your responsibility for implementation

You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and implementing any recommendations or code samples before deploying them to your website. JSON-LD schema, meta tags, and content rewrites may contain placeholders or suggestions that need to be tailored to your specific business. We recommend testing all changes in a staging or development environment first.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use AussieAEO to:

• scan websites you do not own or control without express permission;
• attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, or access controls;
• harvest, scrape, or reproduce third-party content at scale outside the intended scan flow;
• use the service for any unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purpose; or
• resell or redistribute reports in a way that violates these terms.

6. Payments, refunds, and credits

Paid reports are a one-time digital purchase priced at AUD $99, which is the total you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Stripe is the party that collects and remits any GST on the sale — it is withheld from the payment before it reaches us, and your receipt comes from Stripe showing the GST component of the price. TraceData Australia is not itself registered for GST and does not charge or remit GST on its own account.

The deliverable includes grounded visibility samples, competitor and citation-gap analysis where available, JSON-LD schema code, line-by-line rewrites and one verification re-scan. The report is generated and made available immediately after payment, and by purchasing you are asking us to begin supplying it straight away. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds once delivery has begun. This is our own policy, and it does not affect the consumer guarantees described in section 6a.

7-day limited refund window. You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if:

• the scan failed to complete due to a technical fault on our side and we are unable to regenerate the report; or
• the report is materially defective (for example, the JSON-LD is malformed and cannot be corrected on request); or
• you were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount).

Refunds are not available where the report was delivered successfully and the recommendations, schema code, or rewrites have been copied, downloaded, or implemented on your site. We reserve the right to refuse a refund and to suspend accounts where we detect a pattern of "buy, copy, and refund" behaviour, chargeback abuse, or other misuse. This paragraph limits our own refund policy only: it does not exclude, restrict, or modify any remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law, including where a service has failed to meet a consumer guarantee.

To request a refund, email support@aussieaeo.com.au from the account address used at purchase and include your order reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Free scan credits are subject to fair-use limits and may change over time.

6a. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, we do so in accordance with section 9 below.

7. Intellectual property

The AussieAEO brand, interface, report templates, and generated copy remain the property of TraceData Australia. The reports and code samples you purchase are licensed to you for use on your own website and business. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute the report content as a standalone product or service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular issue will be fixed by implementing the recommendations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TraceData Australia and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the service or any report, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific report that gave rise to the claim, or AUD $50 if you have not made a purchase.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
